Thermal Protection for Critical Electronics

Pfannenberg Cooling Units, as a closed-loop cooling system, prevent critical temperature fluctuations and avoid overheating. The units effectively seal out ambient air, ensuring that clean, cool air is recirculated throughout the enclosure. These units are necessary when cooling cannot be achieved with outside air, when the required internal temperature is equal to or lower than the ambient temperature, when the ambient air is heavily contaminated with oil or conductive dust, or when higher ingress protection is needed.

Types of Cooling Units

DTS 3000 Series: side mounted units meet the demands of the North American NEMA market. These units meet the needs for indoor NEMA Type 12 applications, NEMA Type 3R/4 outdoor applications and NEMA Type 4/4x stainless steel for washdown applications.

Green Series DTI/DTS 6001: allows for European style recessed mounting on enclosure doors and/or side panels on modular systems. These units provide energy efficient performance to reduce energy costs and environmental impact. The “click & fit” design of the units reduces installation times by more than 90%.

X-Series DTI/DTS 6XxE: allows for European style recessed mounting on enclosure doors and/or side panels on modular systems. These units utilize inverter technology to provide flexibility and precise cooling to the enclosure while reducing energy consumption. These “click & fit” units reduce installation times by more than 90%.

DTT 6000 Series: Top Mount Cooling Units offer unique protection through our innovative, patented condensate management system. These units can be safely installed above critical components with peace of mind.
