DHS 3481
Hybrid Series
SIDE MOUNTED COOLING UNITS
5000-7000 Btu/h
Our DHS 3481 (NEMA Type 4/4X) series cooling units combines active and passive cooling to deliver high-efficiency performance with impressive energy savings. These cooling units are ideal for environments where the temperature is variable with lower ambient temperatures, climate-controlled facilities, and operations that run at partial capacity for periods of the day. Housing: galvanized sheet steel. Cover: electrostatically powder coated RAL 7035 (light grey)

Features
Closed Loop Design
Designed to isolate the external ambient air from the internally conditioned air eliminating the risk of contaminants entering the cabinet.
Efficient Circulation
Large distance between intake and exhaust vents for efficient air circulation and elimination of hot spots.
Free Cooling
Air to air technology that cools using the cooler air outside the enclosure to remove heat from inside the enclosure with minimal energy use.
Dual Cooling System
Free cooling and active cooling provides cooling redundancy in highly unlikely events when one system fails.
Active Cooling
Compressor driven cooling utilized only when the air around the enclosure exceeds the desired internal temperature of the enclosure.
Active Condensate Management
Condensation is a natural byproduct of refrigeration. The heated condensate collection pan boils this off thereby eliminating the need for drain tubes and buckets. To conserve power, this heater only activates when necessary.
Optional Filter Design
In high particulate environments, optional filters could be ordered for easy retrofitting without needing tools.
Energy Efficient Fan
Equipped with energy efficient EC type fan with proprietary algorithm to optimize fan speed to achieve balance between delivering performance and energy efficiency.
External Display
For visual temperature monitoring and error code display. Easy access to temperature adjustment with password protection capability.
Lower GWP Refrigerant
Unit comes standard with R513a refrigerant with a GWP of 630 to meet more stringent Greenhouse gases regulations.
Self-Protected from Harsh Environments
Our unit is uniquely designed to protect itself from dirt and liquid from harsh environments. It includes a compressor sump heater to prevent cold starts, prolonging the life of components.
Convenient Handle
Additional handle to ease installation or removal of the covers.
